A note from the founder
Howdy! My name is Greg. My wife and I started Whisper Lawn Care to provide sustainable lawn care services and foster a greener community through eco-friendly practices — with a commitment to enhancing the natural beauty of the local community using cool tech.
We moved to Texas in 2014 from Nashvegas (otherwise known as Nashville Tennessee), and fell in love with the master planned communities in the Collin County area — especially the Twin Creeks neighborhood in Allen where we are raising our family of 4 spunky kids.
As a serial entrepreneur I’ve built several businesses over the years (some successful, some not) and bring a wealth of knowledge & skills from both the startup tech world and buckets of sweat equity.
My goal is to combine a love of technology, sustainable living, and nature. If you have a job you love, you never work a day in your life right?
About Greg
I started my first business at 12 years old...yep you guessed it, a lawn care business! Using my parents equipment for jobs in the neighborhood, and grandads big lawn tractor for a commercial account, I got an early education in service, systems, and hard work.
After our first kid was born, my entrepreneurial bug took flight again. Starting with a property preservation business in 2007, and later building websites and apps, the past 10 years I’ve been focused on systems design & accessibility for two IPO-bound startups.
I’ve been itching to combine my love of the outdoors and technology — specifically solar energy, modern tech-infused machinery, and the systematic stewardship of the natural world.
All this brings us to Whisper Lawn Care! My vision is to cultivate this lawn care company into a premier regional leader, known for transforming ordinary yards into enchanting, sustainable landscapes that delight our customers and nurture our community.
